Do you have an alpaca you'd like to trade for one of similar value? Are you trying to build a rose-grey herd and have a maroon female who doesn't fit into your breeding program? Here's where you can offer your animals in trade. For example, you might be willing to trade a brown gelding for a rose-grey gelding.

Rarely, someone wants to give away an alpaca for one reason or another. If you want to give away an alpaca, be sure to state specifically in the comments section exactly why you're willing to do this. Alpacas are valuable animals, and if you're giving one away, there has to be a reason. Please state it clearly and completely.

It's up to you to research the animal you're trading for. You and your trading partner are solely responsible for the quality of the animals you choose to offer and accept, and by posting your trade offer here, or by accepting a trade offered here, you agree to hold The Alpaca Place harmless in the event the trade falls through or one of the traded animals turns out to be a disaster of some kind. In other words, here, as in all alpaca activities, you're responsible for your own choices.

Be sure to include correct contact information and all the necessary information about the alpaca you're offering and about the alpaca you're looking for. Here's an example of a correct posting:

Silver Saddles Farm
Ponderosa Pines, CO USA
